I'm quite used to rendering figures in upright positions, but as always, come very close to mindblowing frustration when it comes to rendering prone characters. Ever wonder why your V4's legs seem to hover when she lies on the ground?

i saw a few files online that fix breasts and other parts of the body as they come in contact with objects or flat surfaces, but have absolutely no idea how to use them effectively.

anybody know a tutorial somewhere I can pick up so I don't continuously render poses like this one?

Thanks, all.

By the way, yea I'm still alive. Just a bit out of touch, with baby coming and all.

Do you use Poser or Daz Studio 3? If it's Daz, I can send you a pack of 15 ground poses that I have built myself for unconscious girls.

One good technique, by the way, is to set your camera at ground level so that you effectively see what is above and below the floor. Then set each limb through twisting and bending so it rests on the floor without pushing through it. If you can do this and manage to maximise some of the twist and bend on the limbs or torso, it really demonstrates that the girl is unconscious, because she wouldn't lie awake or sleep natually in such an uncomfortable position.

Sorry though, I don't believe that there is any function to put natural 'weight' into bodies, or ragdoll them against a solid object or floor.

Oh, and the last thing, always set the position of the HIPS first, then build the pose from that.
